CMINEN is founded by the University of Groningen (RuG), University Medical Center Groningen (UMCG), University of Twente (UT), and Siemens Netherlands. Each partner brings its own knowledge and experience into the mix, creating a powerful alliance.

In addition CMINEN has attracted many (international) partners from the business and research community. An overview of CMINEN project and network partners is shown below. The ambition of CMINEN is to extend its partner base in the Netherlands and beyond and become an leading open innovation platform for medical imaging.

CMINEN is supported by European Commission and the national and regional governments in the Netherlands. Government support is key for the success of CMINEN by co-financing R&D projects and building the CMINEN innovation cluster.
